Sitting around a table full of family and stories from memories begin to filter into conversation. As attention pours into the new tidbit of revelation from days far gone, you begin to shrink in your seat. You’ve noticed the conversation is about you. Well…the YOUNGER you when every choice was a first, followed by many second chances in life. These stories are a part of what has built our character.
“We are who we are because of what we’ve experienced.”
But is this an absolute? I posit that the missing part is our own thoughts and beliefs about what we’ve experienced.
“We are who we are – because of our thoughts and beliefs about our life experiences. “
